Cambodia is famed for producing some of the most fantastic oud oils from the Aquileria Crassna tree, we have the pleasure of introducing this fantastic oil from a Vietnamese Crassna, experience for yourself what Vietnam has to offer. This magnificent oil comes from the Aquillaria Crassna species, and is plantation grown in Vietnam, an area originally known to have an abundance of naturally occurring agarwood trees. While there are still wild agarwood trees to be found in remote forest regions, they are extremely rare and very difficult to obtain. By buying agarwood oil from cultivated trees, we help reduce harm to the last remaining wild agarwood trees, and to the forests in which the wild agarwood trees grow.
Aquilaria Crassna Pierre species is native to Vietnam. Oudh made from Aquilaria Crassna is one of the most valuable Agarwood oil due to its unique characteristics and seductive fragrance.
The rarity of genuine high grade Oud can be illustrated quite easily: certain Japanese incense companies retain employees along the rural Agarwood trade routes all over South East Asia. These people are fluent in the local languages and culture and are employed for years on end to simply pay attention to what comes out of the forest. If a beautiful piece of wood is found, suitable for the private collection of a well-connected Japanese Agarwood connoisseur, it is bought immediately, long before it reaches the big markets in Bangkok, Singapore or Bombay.
Oud oil distilled from the Aquilaria tree is most sought after in the middle eastern countries, as it induces relaxation when the aromatic vapours are inhaled and also a symbol of prestige and wealth.
This Oud fragrance was distilled using water distillation. A sample of this Oudh isn't availble at this time.
