This Agarwood oil is amazing, we love it at Oudh.co.uk, even though this costs less than the Borneo Tarakan, we prefer the Samarinda. Applying this to the skin and inhaling the fragrance will make you wonder what hit you, it is both earthy and floral. This Oudh doesn't have the 'raw masculine' qualities that the Indian Oudh oils have. Unlike some pure Oudh perfume oils this lasts for hours when applied to skin (back of the hand & rubbed together, then wipe over clothing).

The Samarinda Oud oil is also from East Kalimantan, Borneo of Indonesia. As the name suggests, it is from the Samarinda area. This Oudh oil is smoky and woodsy with gentle green notes, evoking a sense of warmth and comfort. This Oudh has been extracted through steam distillation, the Agarwood tree that this Oudh was obtained from was over thirty years old, it took two to three days of distillation with 10-15kg of grounded resinous Agarwood to produce about 12 grams of this precious oil.

Agarwood trees can produce Oud oils that can vary according to the age of this heavenly tree. We can safely say that our Samarinda Oudh oil is a miracle in a bottle. This is what two of our customers have to say about this Gaharu oil:
